Remembering Benny

When I first started reading dog blogs, one of the early ones I picked up on was Two French Bulldogs.  How could I not be drawn to these two - Benny and Lily, two little clowns with lots of adventures and an attitude to match! They ran contests, they had an advise column, they shook their heads at the hilarity of life. They hit a rough patch when Lily had some problems and not long after it seems, Benny got sick and had to go through chemo.  He fought hard, he fought like a Frenchie and through all the tough days the blog still retained an upbeat attitude - these two little ones weren't going to let something like cancer bring them down.

But finally even fighting like a Frenchie wasn't enough and Benny was called to the Rainbow Bridge. He was in his mom's arms, loved as he always was, and always will be.  Benny was always there for his Lily, and Lily was always there for her Benny, but now Lily is going to need some extra loving, and their mom is going to need some love and support, too.  Please go over and show them some love if you can.

I will always remember Benny, whether it's off on an adventure....

Or snuggling with his mom....

But mostly I'll remember Benny with Lily.  Run free, Benny, keep everyone in line over there at the Bridge and watch over your Lily and your mom.

New Angels at the Bridge

It seems as if it's a busy time at the Rainbow Bridge, welcoming pups who've just arrived.

Gracie Lynn of the Slimmer Pugs recently went to the Bridge.

As did Pip.

I know these little ones can't stay with us forever and I know they are running free now, without pain, without the problems they had here on this Earth.  But the time they have with us is so short and I know their people must be feeling very sad about now.  If you can, please stop by and give a bit of support.  Gracie, Pip, you and others that are at the Rainbow Bridge will be missed here....until we're all together once again.
