What I Did On My Summer Vacation, Pt. 2

The next stop on our family vacation was Colmar, France. The town is in the Alsace region of France and had gone back and forth between French and German control for many years. It is called "Little Venice" for an obvious reason. This charming little town is also the birthplace of Auguste Bartholdi, the sculptor who designed the Statue of Liberty. A walk around town, a farmer's market, and some yummy French wine completed another grand family vacation day!

What fun you had on your summer vacation! I noticed that you didn't post any pictures of food and I'm wondering why. I need to see what you ate in case I ever get to France. You never know - Momma may take me there one day!

As a French major and former high school French teacher, I still dream of getting to France/Europe one day. With hubby's retirement approaching, maybe not too far off.

Thanks for sharing your beautiful trip.

Looks divine! It will be a while before we can go on vacation now but I look forward to traveling again with a little one in tow.
