Speak Softly and Carry a Big Stick

Lately, Riley has been picking up sticks on our walks.  Sometimes they are just small twigs, sometimes they are quite large. She always seems to walk with purpose when carrying a stick.  I think she may be getting some of her back teeth as she had a thing for sticks when she was teething as a younger pup.  At least this time around she knows and follows the 'drop it' and 'leave it' commands.

She is just such a cutie. Maybe there is a bit of a retriever in her:)

When our friend was 7 , he decided to collect sticks and bring them home. Within a week, there was enough for the fireplace
